EXCLUSIVE: Author of Kira’s Creative Times Sits Down For An Exclusive Juicy Interview

You may know Kira Ranieri as the author and creator of Kira’s Creative Times, but how well do you really know her? I sat down with the young advertising creative to get to the bottom of who the hell this chick thinks she is.

The UNC Chapel Hill Alumna is no stranger to the North Carolina area, but her heart has a special place for the Western Carolina mountains, where she has lived most of her life. “I grew up in the hippie town of Asheville, North Carolina. It’s a beautiful blend of tractor trailers and witches,” Ranieri reminisced.

This hippie mountain town shaped her into the pretentious, vegetarian libra she is today. She believes this is why she prefers Matcha green tea to regular coffee, you know, like a normal person. “Yeah, I don’t know. I think I kind of just like the taste of grass maybe?” admitted Ranieri.

When it comes to her inspirations for her work, Ranieri is truly a product of her generation (unfortunately). During the interview she quoted the children’s cartoon Spongebob Squarepants 3 times and made random outbursts from about 6 different TikTok trending sounds.

Above all, the more I sat down with her, the more that I found out she. “I’ve worked as a freelance creative for the past 2 years, which has really allowed me to write for a wide range of industries,” said Ranieri. From food and beverage, tourism, technology, B2B, fashion and even HVAC, this young writer prides herself on being open to knew opportunities and wanting to learn all she can in doing so.

When it came time for final thoughts, here’s what Ranieri had to say.

“I like to write things that make people chuckle and create things that make people buy stuff. Whether it’s a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle or an especially puzzling creative brief, solving problems is one of the best parts of the job to me. The other best part is working with other creatives who inspire me and push me to my full potential.”
